Is There a “Best” Foundation for Acne Prone Skin? After reading hundreds of comments in user forums all over the web, we’ve concluded that there probably isn’t any way to know for sure. Everyone has a different diet, a different skin care regimen and of course many of us use more than one makeup product on our face. Allergies and specific skin sensitivities can also play a role. Additionally, some of you are looking for a product to cover your acne while not making it worse, others are looking for a product that simply will not cause a breakout and some want a product that improves the condition of their skin.

What we noticed while reading the user forums, is that every product that received a high number of positive comments, also received at least a few negative comments. Thus contributing to our conclusion that there is no “one size fits all” solution to this problem. The good news is that many products today are at least aiming to address more than just “covering up” our problem spots.
